Another great experience for me as I was lucky to be invited by my photographer friend here in United States to take the video coverage of his wedding at Los Angeles. I started as a videographer and eventually my passion was shifted to photography. I am also an editor in video during 80's and the last time I was a videographer in a wedding was in 1998. Sucessful Wedding Congress

What can we say? We've done it again. A very tiring day for Smart Shot Staff as the Congress organized by Visions and Ideas turned out to be great. Competion among photographers were very stiff in terms of price but we were very much satisfied and so happy about the turn out of the event. We were able to book more than 10 weddings at the bridal show. To those who came and signed contract with Smart Shot Studio. thank you for trusting our company. And for others who dropped by to visit our booth, thank you for your time and we hope we could service you in the future. I would like to thank also Mr. Jun Miranda for his very informative lecture. He took care of the lecture which I prepared in my absence. Thank you again Mr. Jun Miranda for representing my company.

Wedding Congress at SM Megamall

Visons and Ideas organized another bridal fair for soon to wed couples entitled Wedding Congress. Said bridal fair is entirely different from the usual fairs that you see. This a summit wherein soon to wed couples, top wedding suppliers, latest trends and updates, respected speakers, famous celebrities converge in a 3 day convention. I was priviledge to be invited as one of the speakers to share tips on choosing a right photographer and other things to be considered so that output of photographs will look great. But due to my unavoidable commitment in United States, Mr. Jun Miranda, President of PCCI, did the talk for me.

i was invited by my friend Carlos, a photographer based in California, in his E-session with his client Janssen and Jennifer. It was fun to be with him.... very accommodating and i am so lucky to he his friend.

Off to Los Angeles, California

Today is our scheduled flight to LA. We will be having a short vacation at Disneyland and Universal Studio. I remember the last time we went there with Mheann was way back year 2002. Aside from a vacation we will be having a wedding and engagement session. We are biletted at Marriot Hotel in Harbor Blvd. just in front of Disneyland Resort. This will surely be fun and an enjoyable week for me. More stories to come this week.

Congratulations Michael Kim

My 14 year old eldest son, Michael Kim, was elected to be the governor of the 8th year level. This means that he was chosen to be the President of the whole 2nd year level of Marist School.... I am proud of you... keep up the good work, my son.

Kurt + Catherine e-session, San Francisco California

Yadda, yadda... what a long day. We started shooting at around 2pm & ended our prenup at 9pm. I have been doing pre-nuptials for quite a while now and it is very rare that prenuptial would last for 7 hours. Quite a tiring job but i had a great day with Kurt and Catherine whose wedding will be on December 29, 2006 at San Agustin Church, Philippines. We went to North & South area of San Francisco. Kurt & Catherine are both based in USA and they were so happy with the output. They have all the energy to pose in front of the camera for almost 7 hours. We had fun. We had our pictorials to the following places : 1. Golden Gate 2. Palace of Fine Arts 3. croqued Street 4. Twin Peaks 5. San Francisco City Hall 6. San Ramon 7. Foster City After the pictorial we had a short dinner at BJs Chicago StyleRestaurant.

Just finished my on line booking for USA Travel with Southwest Airlines. My itinerary are as follows : August 14-21, 2006 : My wife, Mheann and I will be going to Seattle, Washington to visit a college friend August 21-24, 2006 : To Las Vegas with my wife for a WEVA Convention. August 25-29, 2006 : Shopping days for my wife as she will be going home alone to our hometown on August 29, 2006 August 30-Sept 6, 2006 : I will be back to Salinas, California. I am booked for a Jewish-Filipino wedding ceremony on September 3, 2006. The groom is a doctor and the bride is a lawyer who used to work with Dong Puno. My tentative date of flight to Philippines is September 6.

Signing of Contract with Ms. Alma Junia

Just finished talking with Ms. Alma Junia here in Union City, San Francisco ,CA. She just signed in a contract for their upcoming wedding on Sept. 3, 2006 at Sacramento California, USA. It would be my second time to do a wedding ceremony at Sacramento but this would be my first time to document a Jewish & Catholic Wedding. I'm really excited to perform this wedding. Their engagement pictorial will be set on August 6, 2006 either in Monterey or Napa Valley.

It is worth taking a leave as i never watched two movies in a week. The title of the movie is Click and it is highly recommended. You will surely love the story. Superman Returns

I seldom watch movies due to my hectic schedules. The last time was 6 years ago and last night I saw the movie of Superman Returns with my cousin kyle , uncle nestor & auntie mitzi here at Salinas, CA. . I enjoyed the movie and it is worth sparing time for relaxation.

Congratulations Cassey & trudl

Venue and Ceremony: Southpointe Golf Course, San Jose, California Brides Prep: Crowne Plaza Hotel, San Jose, Silicon Valley Date of Wedding: July 8, 2006 Last Saturday, I had the honor to shoot Cassey and Trudl's beautiful wedding. It was a hot day down at the Southpointe golf course but the weather turned comfortable after sunset. The perfect day for a wedding. A great couple and bridal party. All of them were wonderful to work with. We had such an amazing time with Cassey and Trudl yesterday. The couple were so much fun to photograph. My uncle Nestor second shoot with me. Cassey is presently connected with Footlocker as a Manager, while Trudl is a teacher at San Jose School. It was my second time meeting the couple since both of them are based in USA. There was so much for this couple from their families and friends. It was great to meet you both and I am so happy for you.

Dinner @ fish & chips

We had our dinner at Fish & Chips rest. With me are mhean's relatives, uncle nestor, auntie mitzi & kyle. I ordered 3pcs of fish, clam chowder, macaroni salad and baked potato. What a big serving..... i only ate half of my order....

Welcome to San Francisco California

Just arrived San Francisco California at around 7:43pm of July 5, 2006, 12hours trip from the Philippines. Uncle Nestor fetched me at the airport and we had our dinner at Gilroy at the Black Bear diner. The food was great and i ate STUFFED BREASTS OF CHICKEN with two 6oz. chicken breast, pound them flat and add broccoli and jack cheese to the center. Then gently roll the filling into the chicken breasts and baked. With two sidings of fresh cole slaw, french fries and soup. Black Bear Diner has 33 branches all over California.

We had an Engagement Portrait of Dong & Anna at Grande Island, Subic Bay Free Port. Perfect for pictorial as the place was so quiet and clean. The wedding is scheduled on August 12 ,2006 at Santuario de San Jose. Reception will follow at Edsa Shangrila Hotel. The groom is managing his own business while Anna is already assisting him for six years. Looking forward on your wedding day.
