Lito Q. Genilo Wins a 2nd Place, one 3rd Place Awards & Eight Accolades of Excellence in the 2007 8 x 10 First half Print Competition.

Lito Q. Genilo of Marikina, Philippines, has received special honors in the WEDDING & PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHERS INTERNATIONAL 2007 8 x 10 First Half Print Competition. Designed to recognize outstanding wedding & portrait photographers, the event was held in Santa Monica, CA on June 25, 2007.

Genilo's winning prints, " Hand Sand " received Second Place in the Wedding Details category. " Boating " received Third Place in the Engagemnet category.

" the kiss ", " toast ", & the " The Bentley " each received an Accolade of Excellence in the Bride and Groom Together category. " Bride in the Rocks " received an Accolade of Excellence in the bride or groom alone category. " The Prayer " received an Accolade of Excellence in the Engagement category. " Peekaboo " received an Accolade of Excellence in the Wedding Photojournalism Category. " Veil " & " Angel " each received an Accolade of Excellence in the Wedding Details category.

Genilo competed against photographers from all over the world to win such honors.

The WEDDING & PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHERS INTERNATIONAL 8 x10 print Competition are advancing the art of wedding and portrait photography. The awards are presented each year at the largest trade show, educational platform and convention in the U.S. for Wedding and Portrait Photographers. The 2007 8 x10 First Half Print Competition included 900 print entries in 20 different categories by photographers from all over the world.
