Date: May 26, 2007
Church: Crystal Cathedral, USA
Reception: Hilton Hotel, Convention Way, Los Angeles, USA
Photographers: Lito Q. Genilo, Rene Gaviola, Nestor Contreras and Michael Kim C. Genilo

Oh finally after 6 hours of driving we have made it to the hotel in LA. What an exciting journey. The day started at the church for our occular inspection since that was our first time to have a wedding in LA . While Arlene was having her hair done we shot some details.
Gary and Arlene were married at Crystal Cathedral, the church has amazing architecture and history which makes it gorgeous place for a wedding. I was excited to shoot there again. Thanks to Rene Gaviola and Uncle Nestor for helping me photographing the wedding, and also to my son Kim for the video documentation. It was a pleasure to work with you guys.
The cocktail party started at the Hilton Hotel and meanwhile we went around the church on our walk-a-bout photography session with Gary and Arlene.
Thank you Gary and Arlene for including us on your wedding day ! It was truly lovely , you and your families were wonderful to meet and work with.

The 3rd Annual Asian heritage street Celebration was held in San Francisco's South of Market Area (SOMA) Howard St., between 5th and 7th Streets. This year the AsianWeek Foundation, working with more than 50 other community groups representing over 525,000 members and associates in the San Francisco area, have come together to produce the Third Annual Asian Heritage Street Celebration. A celebration of all Asian cultures, the goal of the Asian Heritage Street Celebration is to promote and foster Asian Pacific American identity by bringing together community, and encouraging the sharing of differences and appreciation of diversity. I was privileged to document the event for the Filipino Community thru the help of Mr. MC Canlas of the KP Gallery. Along with me are my son Michael Kim and Uncle Nestor from Salinas California. It was fun.

Ryan + Kristine (E-Session) San Francisco ,USA

Date: May 17, 2007
Venue; San Francisco, CA, USA
Photographer: Lito Q. Genilo
I absolutely love taking pictures that are out of the country, it made me more inspired and I also love shooting couples who want to bring out their true emotions and their relationships in front of the camera. When I first met Ryan and Kristine I was impressed by their connection with each other. Ryan and Kristine picked me up at Salinas California, a 1 1/2 hour drive from their place. We hit the road right away with my son Michael Kim. Ryan and Kristine were high school sweethearts. They were classmates since high school, finished their high school at Manila Science, and both graduated MAGNA CUM LAUDE at San Francisco State University, USA. The first part of the session took place in Golden Gate Park where they experienced boating. It took 30mins for Ryan to reach the location because that was his first time to paddle a boat, but it was fun. Then it was time to go down to their school where they hang out. This made Ryan and Kristine looked very happy. Ryan's first proposal happened in this romantic place. Last stop took place at the Baker beach with the background of the famous Golden Gate Bridge. Michel Kim helped me to document the shooting, while I'm photographing the couple. Thank you Ryan and kristine for an amazing experience! I can't wait until your big day!
