Jay and Sheila will be our next host and this time we will be staying in their house in Brunswick, New Jersey. Jay was Mheann's classmate and "barkada" during her college days in UST while Sheila was her best friend from Grade 1 to high school in St. Bridget's School. Mheann introduced Jay to Sheila and ended up as husband and wife with 3 lovely daugthers.

Jay and Sheila scheduled a reunion with friends from UST and St. Bridget on August 28, 2008.

New Jersey, Trash the Dress with Ian and Leny

Yesterday I photographed Ian and Leny's trash the dress photo session at Newark International Airport and the historical Rail Road Train in Liberty State Park in New Jersey. Leny and her husband Ian were married last August 8, 2008 but they decided to spend one more day in their gorgeous dress before preserving it. Fantastic friendly couple who were more than willing to do everything I asked of them and I believe it reflects in the awesome photos we captured. This TTD session was more of a fun and no water involved.

Our 6th stop New Jersey, USA

After the seven day Caribbean Cruise we went back to New Jersey for some work assignments. We stayed at Ian and Leny's house our couple last August 8, 2008. We will be doing the trash the dress session this coming Monday.

Arrived Nassau Bahamas 10 a.m.. The Bahamas was a British Colony and the Bay Street is the best place to find luxury items generally lower that you could find anywhere in United States. They say that visiting Nassau without exploring Bay Street is like ordering a Bahama mama without the rum.

Seven Day Caribbean Cruise - 5th Stop

Virginia Beach Wedding with Vernon & Sarah

It was by accident when Sara and Vernon got my service. They were both in the Philippines at that time for a vacation and visited one of the bridal fairs in SM Megamall last July 2007. They booked me on the spot after explaining our services and we first had our engagement session in Eco Park and the second one was in New York.

Sara never dreamed she'd find her perfect match in one of their fellowships. Sara and Vernon, both New Yorkers, dreamed of a formal daytime wedding by the lake.

Sara and Vernon were granted the privelege of exchanging vows in Founders Inn Ground in Virginia Beach the ceremony was so touching. The touching ceremony was followed by a reception at Founders Inn.

8-8-8 Wedding @ New Jersey with Ian and Leny

Ian is the brother of Dolly, our beautiful bride 7 years back. When Ian and Leny decided to tie their knot, Dolly introduced me to them. I first met them in Boracay last May 2008 where we had our engagement session.


A wonderful romance started in NAIA international airport when Ian offered his help to carry some of Leny's luggage. Ian and Lenny are both balikbayans but stay in East and West Coast respectively. When their paths crossed serendipitously at NAIA Airport, the pair hit it off, despite an awkward start: Ian pursued her, and a subsequent text messages and dinner date sparked a romantic relationship, and the rest is history.


Here are my favourites from the Wedding of Ian and Leny. They were two of the nicest people you could ever meet, such a loving couple. The day was perfect, lovely people and lovely venue.

Detail of the brides "bible" and the rings. She is just gorgeous During the ceremony! Photo ops with Grandparents... Exhibition Time! What an absolutely beautiful bride! I absolutely adored Lenys dress! Doesn't she look beautiful? The couple had prepared a brilliant first dance. (All that hard work was worth it!) Few sweet moments... And after the ceremony, Ian and Leny snuck away with me to the St. Ambrose church Garden so that we could do another mini-session with them before returning to the cocktail hour. Infra-red shots! Brett demonstrated his unique perspectives and techniques for revealing the Story within every person, wedding and social event through video

3. Cinematic Shooting Techniques by Jeff Wright
Jeff showed specific techniques such as: Floating camera effects, reveals, rack focusing, simulated crane shots and shot composition.

Brett and Jeff were given a standing ovation for their informative presentation. Jeff was so generous to give all the attendees a free dvd of his seminar, works and behind the scene worth $ 200.00. Then went to the trade show exhibit

Grande Lakes, Orlando our 4th stop

Today is our scheduled flight to Orlando Florida via US Airways. for a seminar on videography to be conducted by WEVA. Travel was fine and we had one stop at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport before we got to our final destination which is Orlando International Airport.

This will be my seventh consecutive years to attend the Convention here in USA. This time venue of the seminar will be held in Grande lakes . Grande Lakes is under the management of JW Marriott. Now in its 18th year, Wedding & Event Video Expo is still the longest continuous running convention and trade show for professional wedding and event videographers.

Virginia Beach USA our 3rd stop

Date : August 8, 2008

Immediately after the wedding of Ian and Leny we proceeded to La Guardia Airport for our next flight going to Virginia Beach, Norfolk International Airport via US Airways. It took us almost 3 hours to reach La Guardia Airport due to heavy traffic in New Jersey and New York. Good thing that our flight to Virginia was delayed by two hours otherwise we won't be able to make the scheduled flight. An answered prayer on our way to airport.

Vernon and Sarah will be our Host, our couple for August 9, 2008 wedding. We are staying at Founders Inn until August 11, 2008 before going to Orlando for our next stop.

En route to New Jersey

Date : August 6, 2008

New Jersey will be our 2nd stop where we will be hosted by Ian and Leny our couple this coming August 8, 2008, the most in demand dates for this year for a wedding. Flight was delayed and travel time was 4 hours and 40 minutes via Jet Blue Airlines.

Poppy Hills Golf Tournament

My first official work here in USA for the month of August. I was priviledged again to photograph the 15th Annual Sharon Saguil Memorial Golf Tournament. 3 years ago I was able to document the same event. Proceeds on the tournament will be given to Salvation Army. The weather was good during the tournament but a bit cold.

San Francisco, USA... here I am again

It was a fine and safe travel with my wife going to San Francisco via PAL PR 104 with 12 hours and 33 minutes travel. Our uncle Nestor and cousin Bong picked us at San Francisco International Airport. We also met our nephew, Kyle at Clarion Hotel who will be attending a Teen Summit in Boston.
