Lito Q. Genilo, wins 1st place and four Accolade of Excellence in International Competition

Judging Venue : Sta. Monica CA, USA

Picked up 1st Place award in Wedding Details Category and 4 Accolade of Excellence Awards in WPPI 1st Half  8 x 10 Print Competition.  Thousands of images from lots of stellar photographers entered into this contest and it is really a big honor to get a place win.  Really a total shocker and the result has surpassed my expectation.

Could not explain the feeling... it's beyond words. I want to thank everyone that had been an influence in my work, especially the lovely couples that I have had the pleasure of photographing. If this pleasure stops, I will stop shooting, that is a promise.

I'm speechless...WPPI 8 Accolade of Excellence Awards !!!

Venue : Bally's and Paris Hotel, Las Vegas Nevada, USA

WOW, what a great week it has been for me in Las Vegas. I'm speechlees... 6 Accolade of Excellence Awards for the 16 x 20 Print Competition and 2 for Album Awards of Excellence Competition.
I am still overwhelmed since this was my only second year in entering into WPPI competition. This is a tough competition and getting an Accolades of Excellence is an accomplishment. I had the priviledged of watching the print judging last Saturday and Sunday and I must say the quality of photos being produced around the world are AMAZING !

For those of you who do not know what WPPI is, it is an organization around the world for professional photographers. Biggest photography competition happens thrice a year and Annual Convention. Competition is by far the toughest anywhere around the world as the talent across the world continues to amaze me. I heard that 12,500 photographers and 35 countries attended this year's convention.

I want to thank the Lord Almighty for this strong passion He has given me, and for making this happen.
